After Aung San Suu Kyi

After Aung San Suu Kyi

None of us ever dared to utter the words, "After Mother is gone." Yet, we know that the day we must part ways is drawing near. For all of us, the very thought—the mere sound of those words—is agonizing, something we never wanted to hear, know, or even imagine. But let us face it now. Let us cultivate our resilience, for we cannot afford to falter or lose heart. After she is gone, it is our singular resolve that not a single enemy who stood against her shall remain.

At one of history’s great turning points, the name Aung San Suu Kyi stood as a pillar of iron for Myanmar’s democracy. Today, she has become something even greater in the minds and spirits of the revolutionaries who follow. The phrase "After she is gone" is not the beginning of our despair, but the catalyst for a fiercer, more relentless power surging through the veins of our revolution. "After Aung San Suu Kyi" has become the final rallying cry—a testament to a revolution that demands no compromise, accepts no deals, and will never look back. History has proven time and again that "a people’s war can never be defeated," for no junta can withstand the collective might of an entire nation.

We have reached the most critical hour of this revolution. Now is the time to unleash the full power of our 70 million people. To choke off the regime’s last breaths, every citizen must become an intelligence operative. In every neighborhood, keep your eyes open—know who is around you, track their movements, and report everything. Let the enemy find no corner to hide, no shadow in which to retreat. Every citizen is a scout; every citizen is a weapon. Build your networks of resistance in every street, every township, and every corner of this land.

To the forces of this revolution, who know that any talk of negotiation is a betrayal of the blood shed by our people, this path is clear: it is a one-way street toward total victory. Transforming our devotion to her into the very essence of this revolution is the greatest victory the new generation can claim. The regime cannot extinguish the rage of a nation. The pain of losing her will only harden our resolve and accelerate our drive to dismantle their strongholds once and for all. This is not a message born of grief; it is a manifesto for the victory that emerges from our defiance. Our fight for the total eradication of military dictatorship no longer rests on any single individual—it is a living, breathing force flowing through the heart of this revolution. The movement will not end when she is gone. With the strength of 70 million, the journey to crush this regime has only just begun. It is time for us to multiply our power tenfold.
