Aviation Catering Export Business: A Strategic Blueprint for Myanmar’s Economic Transformation

"To liberate our citizens from the hardships of precarious labor abroad—where many are reduced to menial roles due to the negligence of the current regime—we must launch projects that allow us to stand on our own feet.

By October 2026, as justice is restored, we must bring our people home under the banner of 'Leap and Strive: We are Myanmar.' To make this homecoming possible, we must implement a systematic Aviation Catering Export Business that offers wages competitive enough to rival those in Thailand and Malaysia, right here in our own country.

Phase One of this project will be centered in Mingaladon and along the arterial highways, leveraging the surrounding agricultural and livestock land. We will build international-standard processing facilities near the airport to produce premium meals for global airline passengers. This serves as a strategic gateway to penetrate global markets through major aviation hubs in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

However, this must not be a private monopoly; it should be a 100% public-owned venture, supported by substantial state loans and comprehensive technical backing. In Phase Two, we will expand this project to strategic corridors like the Mawlamyine–Mae Sot route and the coastal hub of Myeik.

The lifeblood of this industry is a disciplined Supply Chain. To achieve this, we must identify 150 established SME farmers and livestock owners with at least three years of experience, providing them with state-backed financing to integrate into this value chain.

Since the requirements for poultry, fish, and shrimp farming differ significantly, we will collaborate with experts to ensure strict adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, and Halal certification standards. Crucially, a six-month pilot phase must be operational to test these systems before the full project launch.

By producing between 20,000 and 50,000 meals daily, we can generate approximately $150,000 in daily revenue while creating tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs. Processing 4 tons of meat, 3 tons of rice, and 5 tons of vegetables into value-added exports every single day—this is the future of Myanmar’s agriculture.

I share these views for the sake of a 'Leap and Strive' future for Myanmar. Take what is useful, discard the rest, and let us view one another with humanity as we build for the next generation. Let us rise together."
