"Turning Global Waste into National Wealth: A Blueprint for Prosperity"
Our nation is currently facing an unprecedented economic crisis. While we once broke the chains of colonialism, the current regime has regressed our people into a state of displacement and vulnerability abroad—forced into menial labor in foreign lands. In this time of crisis, I choose to set aside impractical environmental pretenses and high-minded rhetoric that ignores our current reality.
We must confront our situation with honesty: for a strategic period, we must courageously embrace the "recycling economy." There is no shame in this; it is not theft, but a tactical stepping stone. My primary mission is to bring home every Myanmar citizen struggling in a foreign country. To achieve this, I am proposing the following economic strategy:
We must establish Free Import and Re-export Zones that permit the duty-free importation of e-waste and End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) from the United States, Japan, Korea, and Europe.
Key Operational Pillars:
Automotive Dismantling & Component Recovery: We will import decommissioned vehicles for systematic dismantling. High-value components—including engines, gearboxes, and body parts—will be refurbished and re-exported or sold domestically, generating significant foreign exchange reserves.
Advanced Industrial Dismantling: Our facilities will feature large-scale warehouses equipped with heavy-duty conveyor systems. Workers will be trained in high-efficiency separation techniques to harvest premium raw materials, such as copper coils, stainless steel, cast iron, plastics, wiring, and high-grade circuit boards.
Global Market Integration: There is already a robust international demand for these recovered materials. By facilitating domestic procurement via Letters of Credit (LC), we will simultaneously slash raw material costs for our local manufacturers, boosting our overall industrial competitiveness.
Hazardous Waste Management & Specialized Recovery: While handling used batteries and automotive fluids requires care, leveraging state-of-the-art technology makes this highly profitable. For instance, the recovery of lead—currently a scarce and high-value global commodity—will be a prioritized revenue stream.
Upcycling Waste Tires into Construction Materials: By importing and processing scrap tires, we will produce high-quality, sustainable building materials for the domestic construction sector.
By implementing this Free Import and Re-export Zone Project, we will create tens of thousands of high-quality jobs. Together, we will build a future under the banner: "Leap and Strive: For the Future of Myanmar."
