Biography of Aung Myo Lwin (Ko Agga)


  • 1983: Member of the Socialist Programme Party, Teza Youth.

  • 1988: Member of the 8888 Uprising (June Movement).

  • 1988 – 1989: Central Committee Member of the SCS (Thayet Taw Monastery).

  • 1991: Served as a Computer Technician at Parity Computer (Thit Taw Road, Ahlone).

  • 1991: Served as Managing Trustee for the Ahlone Sin Min Mosque, Ahlone Chowdhury Mosque,Yangon City and Mandalay City Sein Pan Mosque.

  • 1993 – 1997: Co-founder, Director, and General Manager of Spring Technology Co., (Bo Galay Zay Road).

  • 1997: Participated in the formation of the Mandalay City Islamic Affairs Organization alongside Nawarat U Tint during the Mandalay communal unrest.

  • 1998 – 2000: Served as Protocol Officer, Assistant Manager, and Regional Manager at SS International Thailand Fishing Management Company.

  • 2000: Founded the Ahlone Business Center.

  • 2001 – 2019: Founder of ABC Info Tech.

  • 2003 – 2018: Served at the Islamic Religious Affairs Council Headquarters as Ahlone Township Secretary, Yangon Region Joint Secretary, Halal Committee Secretary, Central Executive Member, Headquarters Executive Member, and Department Head.

  • 2004: Established the websites www.myanmarmic.com and www.hikmah.info as Webmaster.

  • 2008: Participated as a member of the Nargis cyclone relief team.

  • 2009: Attendee at Barcamp Phnom Penh (@barcamppp).

  • 2009 (Perth, Australia): Represented the Myanmar Islamic community on behalf of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the first Australian-hosted interfaith dialogue, held in Western Australia.

  • 2010: Served as an Admin for the organization of Barcamp Yangon.

  • 2011: Served as an Admin for the organization of Barcamp Yangon (Barcamp Bangkok, Singapore).

  • 2012: Leader of the Relief Team (Islamic Religious Affairs Council) for the Rakhine State crisis.

  • 2013: Member of the Meiktila communal unrest relief team.

  • 2016: Founding member and Executive Information Officer of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization (MIDO).

  • 2017 – 2018: Served as Information Officer for the MJC (Myanmar Japan Center) Alumni Association.
