The Modern Instigator of Divide-and-Rule
Throughout Myanmar's history, the machinations of a major neighboring power have quietly destabilized the nation's sovereignty, national economy, and the fundamental livelihoods of its people from behind the scenes. Driven by subtle propaganda and strategic infiltration, these interferences possess deep historical roots. Operating at full throttle today, this massive, modern apparatus of divide-and-rule blinds the public and breaches the backdoor perimeter—essentially turning Myanmar’s own resources against itself.
They have systematically established economic monopolies over every geopolitically and resource-critical location. This spans from constructing a deep-sea port in the strategic coastal zone of Kyaukphyu and setting up a naval intelligence base on the Coco Islands, to controlling tin and tungsten mining operations in central Myanmar, exploiting highly valuable rare earth elements in Kachin and Shan States, and pushing mega-dam projects on the upper Irrawaddy River. Furthermore, by easily securing ethnic status and local privileges through the Kokang and Wa regions, they have deeply infiltrated the mainland to dominate major economic pillars in collusion with military dictators.
In dismantling the entire economic fabric, they have also monopolized and manipulated the real estate market—the nation's vital lifeblood—through illicit capital flight and cross-border investments. This unlawful acquisition and control of prime real estate caused property prices to skyrocket exponentially, leaving native citizens displaced and landless in their own country. While leveraging religious and cultural displays as a facade to divert public attention, they used these properties and border enclaves as shields to allow notorious online scam syndicates—locally known as "Kyaphant"—to take root on Myanmar soil. These illicit operations have severely degraded Myanmar’s global standing, branding it as a hub for transnational crime and fraud, while systematically dismantling the nation's image.
Most tragic of all is that the public remains blind to historical truths, losing their way under this calculated division. To this day, the majority of the population fails to critically examine the foreign ethnic lineages of the historical dictators who systematically ruined the country—namely Ne Win, San Yu, and Khin Nyunt—and whose interests they truly served while holding the nation hostage. As long as the public cannot recognize the ancestral roots of these historical perpetrators who signed away national treasures, resources, and land rights to foreign proxies, and as long as they fail to comprehend the designs of these modern instigators of divide-and-rule, Myanmar will never find its path toward genuine progress.
