Collaborations between the UN (UN-Habitat) and OCEANIX, the ambitions of the Seasteading Institute, and cutting-edge technologies are already transforming this dream into reality.

If we build a city in the middle of the ocean, the biggest challenge is "resources." However, modern engineering has solved this through "Closed-loop Systems."

Energy and Water Self-Sufficiency These floating cities practice "Net-Zero Energy." Solar panels are installed on every roof, generating more energy than on land due to the Albedo effect (reflection from the sea surface). Underwater, tidal turbines and algae farming systems produce biofuels. There is no need to worry about fresh water; Solar Desalination Domes instantly convert seawater into drinking water, and biological technology recycles wastewater 100% for use in agriculture.

Vertical Farming and Biorock To overcome limited space, "Vertical Farming" towers utilizing Aeroponics and Hydroponics provide fresh vegetables year-round. Beneath the city, "Biorock" technology uses low-voltage currents to grow limestone for coral reefs, while fish, shellfish, and oysters are raised using 3D Ocean Farming systems. Smart Toilets and Anal Print Technology Smart Toilets installed in every home analyze user waste daily. Based on Stanford University research, AI uses an "Anal Print" to accurately identify individuals and warns of cancer, diabetes, and kidney diseases years before symptoms appear. In the event of a pandemic, infected individuals can be identified immediately, allowing for control without the need for a city-wide lockdown.

Honeycomb Modular System The city is formed of hexagonal modules. It can start with a platform for 300 people and, depending on funding, expand gradually by connecting modules like a honeycomb.

However, in these floating cities, there is no land cost, reducing expenses to about one-tenth. AADAP IN Nov and Dec

The arrival of December still brings back memories. When I was at a Rehabilitation Camp in the United States, we used to prepare for the Christmas festival in December, just like this.

I invited my beloved older son and younger son. The plans for having dinner together and playing games were Double Special Plans. Based on the variety of chocolates we bought and the number of children invited, the amount of chocolate the children would take home might be about one small plastic bagful.

However, after we bought them, an alumni—now a millionaire—arrived and shared his life story and how he regained his life. (In this context, those who escaped the drug world are often welcomed with the 'Happy Birthday' song for their one-year anniversary of being saved from drugs). Right after that, another 20 kg of assorted chocolates arrived.

In addition, we wrote down the four most-wanted Personal Items we desired. The Camp Team Leader and the alumni decided, and the items arrived under the Christmas tree as gift boxes for us. Everyone received what they wished for, including me.

We created paintings we had drawn ourselves and other Christmas decorations on the wall where our family meeting would take place. (My job was to ensure the walls weren't damaged by those who were putting things up, to arrange the electrical lighting, and to handle technical matters like determining if it was DC or AC and running the female pin to the necessary points).

The Camp Family members held a lottery. The name I drew from the list of Family Members was the name of a girl I really didn't get along with, so I suppose I was quite unlucky, or maybe lucky. My responsibility was to buy her something she needed as a gift, using my own money.
