Myanmar formerly known as Burma. Burma is one of the famous and well known Counties since 40 years ago, as like today Singapore. I still hear and remember about my grandmother say when i was young " When Singapore had Independent at that time Li Kuan Yue announced to his new Country on Radio and said that we will developed our country as Burma". Those days I don't understand why Li say and why My Grandma told me for what ?
When I visited Singapore in 2005, I saw Rangoon name as street name, I very much proud and pleased to Singapore Government for their widen mind, on the other hand I feel so sorry when I met Immigration officer, he looked down on me as I am Myanmar ..Why ?
I deeply sorry for me and our Myanmar people, Our Country Dignity gone with Burma.
Coz I see alot of Myanmar workers at there, we are became other Country's workers. We have been over 100 years as workers for British, in our own Motherland. I feel that we are facing again with other way. it's that more worse ? I don't know. I know only one thing " I love Myanmar or Burma whatever name it, Our Motherland is ours.
I don't know how can I explain that how I deeply love my country. But nowadays I can't have chance to express and how I feel for my Country .
We have long history in Myanmar, started from early of second Myanmar Kingdom. we have been serviced for Myanmar Kings, with several positions as like Minister , General, King Adviser, Captain , King Bodyguard, Ambassadress, Director , Rector, Professor and so on.
We had been fought for Independent we have been paid our blood for our Country. Now we have our own flag as Myanmar banner and we have our Motherland as Our, but we are still as Stranger.
